Gemballa Mirage GT Is A Porsche Carrera GT Turned To 11

While the Porsche Carrera GT is one of the most desirable Porsche models ever built, tuning company Gemballa has a long and rich history of modifying the German supercar.

Over a decade ago, Gemballa introduced the Mirage GT, a heavily upgraded version of the Carrera GT limited to just 25 units worldwide. The modifications made to the car are comprehensive and the tuning company recently took to Facebook to confirm that it has just built and delivered its latest Mirage GT.

According to the tuner, creating the following model took more than 1,000 hours of work – and looking at the images, it’s not hard to see why. The Mirage GT has been outfitted with a plethora of bespoke components which make it stand out. For example, the front end is made up of a new bumper and a hood with a large air vent. Additionally, the front incorporates headlights with fluorescent yellow accents to give the supercar a more distinctive look.

The exterior alterations made to the car continue at the sides with the fitment of black wheels and yellow brake calipers. There are also new side skirts and carbon fiber doors. While the front and sides of the car are overt, it is perhaps the rear which is the most radically different.

Gone is the refined and sophisticated rear fascia of a standard Carrera GT and in its place sits a fixed rear wing, bespoke bumper, distinct quad tailpipes, and bright yellow engine cover. The Mirage GT also includes a large roof scoop which stretches its way into the engine bay.

The cabin is outfitted with a bespoke steering wheel and features a number of leather and Alcantara components, as well as some yellow accents spread throughout.

While the looks may split opinions, it’s hard to argue with the naturally-aspirated V10 engine which has been tuned by Gemballa to pack 680 hp.
